The beautiful Amy (Helen to follow soon)
24th to 27th June 1999 – Glastonbury– Amy and I collect the Super Furry Animals crew from Holyhead in N. Wales and take them to a gig in Corwen, Wales and another at Glastonbury. Glastonbury was sunny and absolutely brilliant – the best festival have been to.
10th to 12th July 1999 – T On The Park– My vehicle is booked to take 4 prize winners of a BBC Radio One competition from Leicester to Kinross for the "T On The Park" festival. We were at the Radio One Evening Session stage. This stage is for up and coming bands so the bands we met were not famous but may well be in the future. These included Snow Patrol, Witness, some Icelandic Band, Mogri, Death In Las Vegas <I’ll fill in the gaps when I remember>! Unfortunately I accidentally deleted some pictures (again) before I had saved them. Mogri were selling T-Shirts with "Blur Are Shite" on them which got them some interviews!
29th July – Stag Party – some neighbours hang a naked mate onto a lampost with cling film.
6th November 1999 – Amy has a Halloween party – see her new boyfriend Tim strutting his stuff.
7th February 2000 – I take Bellatrix from Iceland on their UK tour in the motorhome. First time I have towed a trailer with it and first time the reversing camera has failed! Supported by Crashland.
March 2000 – Another Bellatrix tour with the Glitterbugs – a few pictures of the Glitterbugs for the record.
May 2000 – Dilated Peoples. This is where I drove from Devon to London to Scotland to London in 48 hours ending up at GLASTONBURY 2000
June 2000 – Crashland to T-In-The-Park in Kinross, Scotland. Some OK shots of Moloko too from backstage.
August 2000 – Visit with Frances to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, a subtropical paradise in Cornwall, England
August 2000 – Travel to Scotland with Eric and Melanie Isaacson. It looks like the alley we parked our motorhome in at Glasgow behind King Tuts was used by David Gray for his music video.
August 2000 – Take Elliott Smith to Glasgow, Leeds and Reading Festivals.
March 2001 – went on a mini-schmooze to Dublin
July 2001 – T in the Park with Irish band Relish (some photos of Placebo on stage and Liam Gallagher of Oasis talking to Steve Harrison)
Bit of a gap here as I have been rather busy but I did buy the biggest bus in the world that is being turned into a sleeper coach. Take a look at http://jumbocruiser.com
OK – I have got a bit fed up with adding more band photos. I have carried a few famous names now and have got used to the novelty! I am hopoing that local band Hawkwind has now "adopted" me and my bus!
